What we do
Thetaview publishes data-driven analysis of US equities, ETFs, and major currency pairs. Every article is grounded in verified market data — prices, volumes, technical indicators, options positioning, and recent news — and is written for retail traders who want clean, actionable context, not generic commentary.
How our content is produced
Our content pipeline runs in four stages:
- Data assembly — we fetch real-time and historical market data from Polygon.io and compute the quantitative metrics deterministically (RSI, moving averages, implied volatility, options positioning, historical move statistics). No language model ever does math.
- News synthesis — we aggregate recent news from Polygon, Google News, and Finviz, then synthesize a structured digest covering sentiment, themes, catalysts, and risks.
- Content generation — an AI writer drafts the article using only the verified data and news digest from the prior stages. Every number cited must come from the source data packet.
- Editorial evaluation — a separate AI reviewer scores each article on accuracy (numbers match source data), compliance (no advice language, no hype), and quality (readability, structure). Articles must meet our internal threshold before publication; otherwise they are rejected or rewritten.
AI disclosure
All articles on Thetaview are AI-assisted and labeled as such in their frontmatter (the ai_assisted field is set to true). Our editorial process is designed to keep the writing grounded in verified data, but readers should treat every analysis as a starting point for their own research, not a definitive view.
Not financial advice
Thetaview publishes analysis and commentary. We do not provide personalized investment advice, recommendations, or solicitations to buy or sell securities. Nothing on this site should be taken as a recommendation to take any specific position in any specific instrument. See our Terms of Use for the full disclaimer.
Editorial independence
Thetaview does not accept paid placements, sponsored articles, or pay-for-coverage. Our revenue comes from contextual advertising via Google AdSense, which does not influence which tickers we cover or what we say about them.
